We had some home damage but all the work is basically done and I’m back to writing. Gunboat Diplomacy, book 14 in The Empire of Bones Saga, is about 50% written. I hope to have the first draft done by the end of April and get it off to the editor late-May. Next up after that will be book 3 in The Imperial Marines Saga, as yet untitled.
I’ve gotten back on the horse and have started writing on the book again. Things are moving well.
The first pass for Imperial Recruit (formerly Imperial Marines: Recruit) has come back from the editor, been dealt with, and is back for the second pass. It’ll be published late this month or early next.
I’ve been listening to audio books in my pile as I work and I’m going to posts short reviews here over the next few days. I figure if people like what I write, they’ll have a chance of liking what I read. If I don’t really like something, I won’t mention it. No need to be that guy.
That’s it for me. I’ll have a newsletter coming out next Tuesday, so keep an eye out for it. Later.
I took a break in writing the tentatively titled Gunboat Diplomacy, book 14 in The Empire of Bones Saga, to update my website to use a new plugin and add content. I think I have it the new look basically set up. The book is 1/4 done. I’ll get back to writing on it this weekend. The plan is to have the next book wrapped up by the end of February.
The book I just finished writing, Imperial Recruit, book 2 of The Imperial Marines Saga, is at the editor. I’d wager it will be published in early March.
